T-shirt printing is an art. It is challenging to get life like quality prints, complete with the correct tones, shades and gradients. While most t-shirt prints are single spot colors (which is easiest to produce), there are a few ways of getting life like images. One of which is a 'direct to garment' printer. Good examples are T-Jets and DTG . While DTG does a good job at producing photo quality imprints on a T-shirt, it still has many weaknesses. Among some of the problems are: it is usually fussy about the fabric is prints on, black shirt hard to print on, and the imprints are prone to fading after multiple washes. Here's a good discussion on why you would want a DTG.
There are many other solutions , like heat transfer and dye sublimation which I may go abit more detail later. They too have their pros and cons. But as T-shirt manufacturer, we need speed. DTG's, heat transfer and dye sublimation just don't cut it. (If you have a high speed solution, let me know!)
We are working with our t-shirt printers to produce high-quality life like plastisol imprints. The pictures you see here are most gorgeous. It has a someone textured and 3D feel to it. The really good thing is, it does not peel, crack or fade.

Amazing huh. These prints are all done manually. The tiger eye and the crab in the pictures are so much more mesmerizing. Feels more like an oil paint masterpeice.

This method is ideal for customers looking for low volume prints (less than 1000 shirts). For higher volume prints, we will need to use an octopus machine, which we will blog about sometime in the future. For now, stay tune we will be publishing our price lists soon.
