Width measurements typicall start from just below the underarms, and the length is measured from the shoulder right to the bottom. Sleeve length is measured from the seems right to the tip. It includes the cuff, if the t-shirt has it.

Baby T (Asian) sizes are typically S(34), M(36) and L (38). A Baby T - L size is also roughly the size of a normal Unisex S size, but a little shorter. Petite girls usually wear S or even XS. Normal size ladies should be M and L. But these are general guidelines for Asian women. Western women, may be need 1 size bigger.
